Hey, I’m Micheleen — and I get it.
At almost 49, I’m living proof that strength doesn’t disappear in midlife — it deepens. But it didn’t happen by accident, and it definitely didn’t happen overnight.
My journey hasn’t been linear. I survived anorexia and bulimia. I spent years using running as both a lifeline and a crutch. I chased extremes, followed diet culture, under-ate, over-trained, and lived in fear of food for far too long.
Everything began to change when I stopped trying to shrink myself and learned how to build myself instead.
That meant strength training with intention.
Learning how to fuel my body through macros instead of restriction. Doing the mindset and therapy work.
And finally understanding what was happening in my body as I entered perimenopause.
Now, as a menopause specialist, midlife metabolic coach, and strength coach, I help women 35+ do the same — not with quick fixes or extremes, but with real education, real support, and a plan built for this season of life.
Because midlife isn’t the beginning of the end.
It’s a rebirth.
